I am a fourth year Psychology major with a concentration in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience as well as a Spanish minor. During my time at the University of Florida, I have been given numerous opportunities to broaden my academic and interpersonal horizons to become a well-rounded, global student. Specifically, the myriad of experiences I had learning another language and studying abroad allowed me understand the universality of psychology as a field. Due to the language skills I gained from my coursework and travels, I have been able to utilize multiple languages in clinical and counseling settings. These applications have only reinforced my desire to become a licensed therapist and participate in community services. Upon graduation in May 2020, I intend to gain research experience as a post-bacclaureate before pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
